In 1960, Nancy and Marshall Benjamin, two teachers from Michigan, acquired a three-car garage in North Palm Beach, swept out its dirt floors, bought some rudimentary furnishings and founded what they called the North Palm Beach Private School. As forward-thinking educators, the Benjamins started a kindergarten whose curriculum featured foreign language, 科学, music and physical education, 但最重要的是, 阅读. The dawn of the 21st century unleashed a rousing era of campus transformation for 本杰明学派. Less than six miles north of the tranquil setting where Marshall and Nancy Benjamin built their humble little school 43 years earlier, the school broke ground on new land in Palm Beach Gardens. The sprawling 上学校 campus provides state-of-the-art facilities for students in grades 9 through 12.
